This is Bob Novak of Neosho Mo. Bob has also been known in close circles as "Carlos" He has played his Martin and sung for many years for the Down Home Music Show in Neosho Mo. with the "Granny Chicks" and under the name of The Back Road Drifters, which I belive you could say evolved into the BRD's and after an introduction as the Fabulous BRD's ... it stuck! Bob gives 110% when he sings as you can see in the picture above.

Joe Johnson, AKA,"Smok'n Joe Johnson" is one of the best guitar players around.
Playing that driving rhythm and lead at any given moment. Joe has played guitar for over 40 years and to reveal more would reveal his true age so we will leave it at that. Joe has been a part of the Johnson Family Bluegrass and the Spring Valley Music show for way over 20 years. He is also the true gentleman of the group.

Here is Gary Shipley, what can we say... first, he has lost over 100 lbs lately, is single, travels professionally as a musician. He plays many instruments, and played with some of the best in the industry, many Hall of Famers.... you will find him playing the Dobro and if you can't tell he plays the fire out of the banjo, ( see picture above ) he can sing, mostly the manly lower notes. His talent and knowledge is legendary. In fact, some facts about him are located on his site, www.garyshipleybluegrass.com

This is Corky Dow, a new comer to Bluegrass, moving to the Missouri Ozarks area a few years back and fell in love with the Bluegrass music. He carries the single mike around for the group and tries to keep up with them, "they let me play and they let me sing so I could not be happier." He worked his way up to the dream of owning and playing a Gibson mandolin so life is good!

Randy Murphy is from Anderson, Mo.  He plays multiple instruments. Randy is currently Dog House bass for the BRD's.  He is involved in several groups and has been an organizer of jams and events also.  Go Randy !!
